Dave has been teaching both my son and daughter over the past few years (electric and acoustic guitars). He is patient and laid back in his approach which I think brings out the best in our kids. He encourages them to sit grade exams if they wish to, but never puts pressure on them to do so. He always ensures that the focus is on enjoyment . He plans every lesson individually and if there is a particular piece that the kids wish to learn he will always go away and work to make this achievable for them. I rarely need to remind my kids to practice because they seem to want to improve and Dave always gives them positive feedback when it is deserved. I really cannot more highly recommend Dave Inkster Guitar a 5 star service.
